If you're a skilled and ambitious Product Design Engineer who loves variety, this opportunity is for you. You'll be joining a busy and growing design consultancy at an exciting point in their journey. As part of a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers, you’ll be developing best-in-class solutions for a diverse range of clients across medical devices, consumer electronics and industrial products.

Responsibilities
As a Product Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing product development projects from start to finish
- Finding practical solutions and use scientific methods to validate and optimise decision-making
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Using 3D CAD such as Solidworks to develop robust models and production drawings
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and participating in design reviews
Requirements
Are you the Product Design Engineer we’re looking for? Here’s the toolkit you’ll need:
- Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Innovation or Industrial Design
- Experience within a recognised product design consultancy/design agency or a varied in-house career
- Experience with various manufacturing processes including castings, metals, fabrication, machining, injection molding, vacuum molding, and rotational molding
- Strong analytical skills to start projects by examining numbers and contextual realities
- Expertise in 3D CAD (particularly Solidworks)
