Position Overview

Our client is accelerating their engineering team with the addition of a Mechanical Test Engineer. If you've got the skills and experience in testing and designing equipment within a multidisciplinary team, then you could be pivotal to perfecting their high-performance mobility technology. Plus, you'll get to work closely with leaders from numerous industries.

Responsibilities

• Define tests and assess results against product specifications
• Identify relevant international standards with third parties
• Specify and design specialised test equipment
• Develop test rigs in line with the engineering team
• Document test protocols for development and validation
• Engage with testing laboratories when needed
• Run tests for capturing, documenting and result analysis

Requirements

• Must hold a degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline
• Previous experience as a test engineer and designing test equipment
• Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with semi-complex electro-mechanical products
• Agile working style with an entrepreneurial spirit
